Any advice for becoming a Marine W.O.?

I'm deciding whether to join the Army or the Marines; but after reading about MOS 0306, I would like to be a weapons expert/instructor type of guy, which is in the Marines. How do I become a Marine Gunner? Is there another counterpart like that in the Army? thanks
