Help!! My roommate abandoned me!?

So, I currently live in a townhouse where I signed the lease w/ two other girls. Rent is due IN FULL on the first of every month. Since we've signed the lease one of the roommates has abandoned her rent and all of her property in our townhouse. We have been paying her rent plus our own since January 1, which is getting very both frustrating and expensive for us. She DOES NOT respond to text messages or phone calls and she will not come remove her things or remove herself from the lease so she will continue to owe me for everytime I pay her rent. What kind of rights as a tennant on a lease do I have? I'm getting extremely fed up w/ her behavior and I feel like she deserves some type of punishment for the abandonment of her rent and her property. Any suggestions? PLEASE?! i'm so pissed! it's going on 3 months now!!
