How do i stop my pup from pulling all my clothes off the line? ARGH?

We have an 8 month old Maremma pup who is perfect in every possible way except one... he has a serious for pulling all of our clothes off the line and dragging the clothes around the yard. We are at our wits end, as we have tried filling stockings with curry powder and hanging them off to teach him a lesson, but to our dismay, he pulled THEM off and they didnt faze him a bit. What to do?
