Should i like her or forget about it?

I would just casually bring it up to her. Say something along the lines of: by the way, i meant nothing bad when i made that comment last night, sorry if it offended you at all. And just see what she says. I think if you like her you should go for it. Yeah it may be awkward seeing as she is the coaches daughter, but it will get less awkward overtime once people are used to the idea.
