Are u stunned, only two countries (US & India) allow same $ex couples to adopt a kid / through surrogates ?
Although many countries allow same couples to adopt children (in the US handful of states, like Virginia do not allow) the restrictions on surrogacy are getting tighter and few countries allow what is referred to as 'commercial surrogacy' where the birth mother is paid for her services. Currently it is only lawful in the US to compensate the woman for expenses. I believe the same applies to the UK. It is also not legal for ANYONE (same or opposite couples) to pay a woman for the right to adopt her child- regardless of who the birth father is. Although it is legal (and common) to pay huge sums of money to an adoption agency to facilitate.
