Is this a good idea to fix the BCS?

It looks fine on paper, but why should the one-loss winner have to play those extra shakeup games just to play the undefeated team? By that point the #2 team has already played two more games than the #1 team. Not only would it give the #1 team a grossly unfair advantage, but how would the polls work for the shake up series?
